I have been working at Eastside Tennis Academy in Westhampton Beach, NY as a Tennis Professional and Pro Shop Manager. I have worked with Eastside Tennis Academy for 7 seasons and have total teaching experience of more than 8 years. I am capable of teaching both kids, juniors and adults. I have done both group lessons as well as privates. I am used to teaching in resorts (as in my current job) and I believe I could also adopt for more serious players, because of my tennis background. I played in the NCAA Division 1 tennis team for Delaware State University in the USA, where I played # 1 singles and doubles in my last two years and captained the team. I was the # 1 ranked junior in Sri Lanka and the # 5 in mens open singles in Sri Lanka in 1998 and won many awards for my tennis accomplishments in my home country prior departing to the US for college tennis and education. I have played in the ITF circuit and a few satellite tournaments.I am still a very competitive strong player at age 25. I also have experience in managing a tennis & fitness pro shop for 4 seasons.
