I still think that working out by doing interval training is still the best way to stay in good aerobic shape and also work on your speed and heart-rate recovery.
Ideally, find an olympic size track and start by sprinting half the track and then slowly jogging the other half to recover. I do this 8 times which is equivalent to running 2 miles.
If you are still not tired, make your sprints gradually shorter. Be sure to always really "rev" up your heart on the sprints and concentrate on cooling down during the slow jogging period.
Doing interval training you'll stay in great shape and not loose your quickness on the court! |
