Approach shot Game

Written By:Laura Gorman
Category:Competitive Play
Date Updated:8/3/2005

Two people (designate one to hit approach shots and the other to hit shortballs from the baseline) stand at the baseline, both will start hitting ground strokes back and forth, when the baseliner wants, he hits a short ball to bring the approach-hitter in (this is where he would hit the approach shot and follow it in to the net). Play out the point.

Scoring-Once the shortball is fed, the real point starts, so if the net-charger misses the approach shot, the other guy gets a point. If he makes it, whoever wins the point gets a point.

Play to 7 or 11, and then switch places.
