What I did in Clinic today

Today in clinic we played singles and doubles. Lisa and I are playing in a doubles tournament this weekend, so we needed the practice.
I think my lesson last week really helped, I focused on everything I was supposed too (except, I think I still need some slow practice for the volleys). Also, I was better at being agressive on the return of serve.
I had one, maybe 2 aces and only 1 or 2 double falts. My strokes were pretty good, and I was able to get some pace on them. I think I am starting to understand more how to play doubles and read the opponents.
In singles, I played andrew. I wasn't serving quite as well in doubles, but hit most of my groundstrokes well. I got most of the shortballs, and about half the time put them where I wanted them.
It was great to get out again, and I think all the work from last week payed off. Overall I'd give myself an 8. |
