Umpire cost me the match or maybe i'm not mentally tough enough?

Written By: Jessica T Date: 6/17/2005 I played a junior tournament in San Diego last weekend and lost in the final to a girl who I think I should have beaten. It was 4all in the third set and she went to sit down and said it was now 5:4 for her! What? We just played one game and not two I said! Anyway, we had to get the umpire who made us start at a score that we both could agree to. So we started at 3all because that is what she could remember. Anyway, I know it should not have but it bothered me so much that I lost 6:3 that set. I learned my lesson (I hope) because you have to be able to block out these things and just play one point at a time! Related Photos No images available...
