Today Lisa and I played in John's doubles tournament. We played Mrs. Byrd and Mrs. Walker.
My serve wasn't quite as good as Tuesday, but I had two aces. My 2nd serve on the ad side kept going a little wide to the left, so I need to think more right tomorrow when I play again.
I felt like I did a lot better at anticipating what the other net player was going to do, and my groundstrokes were pretty strong also.
Lisa I think got a little discouraged on her serve, but overall I thought we played well as a team.
we had many good points, so we didn't give away the whole match, but we could have gotten on our groove before the 1st set ended.
Today, I think we can do really well, but most of all we'll have fun! |
