today was a great clinic day... after our lessons, we hit serves and returns for a while, then lisa changed into a fresh outfit and I took a little break.
We played kind of like a tiebreaker where you play to 21 switch serves every 3 points and switch ends every 10 points. Lisa and I started against each other and it was pretty close (something like 21-17 me). We had lots of good points, and I was really going after the ball, hitting aggressively, serving and returning well.
Then I played hunter and although I beat him 21-6 or something, but all the ones he won, he really had to work for.
Then I played Matt, and despite a few dumb errors, I returned really well, and really played very well although he won 21-10 or something. It pretty close until the end.
Hopefully on Saturday at the tournament, I can play well and aggressively, serve well, and return forcefully! |
